UGA is one of about 25 schools that think they should win a conference championship every other year and contend for a national title every 4 or 5 years. It’s not hard to do the math and see that’s not possible for most of those schools.
UGA will be fine without Richt, but the fact that their fanbase thinks the program is above Richt is kind of humorous. It’s sort of like Nebraska firing Pelini, except that Richt isn’t a jerk.
