Rocks

Has anyone navigated to the rocks since the storm?
Wondering if the sandbars had shifted.
Also, has anyone gone out to rocks lately.
I will be down all week if anyone is interested in joining me

Fished that area recently with no problems. Water is looking better with each passing tide. Live mullet has been the bait of choice for the bull reds. Good luck!

Being on the water is a blessing, catching fish is a bonus!

Jim, good luck, It’s that time of the year to go!

Went on Thursday. Guy near me caught two while I was there. Nothing for us. Were using cut mullet.

It certainly hasn’t been on fire

I agree Capt Ron! Some days the bite has been strong and then there are those slow days. My numbers have been average compared to last few years. Usually catch two bulls, take some pictures and move on. I don’t fish for them more than an hour or so. If they are biting you’ll know it pretty quick! Live mullet and cut bait have worked for me. I’ve had more hookups with live mullet. Most of my success has come two hours before and after flood tide.
