Being new to South Carolina. Barnwell exactly. Where can I go to get a tip put on one of my surf rods? There seems not to be any tackle stores around here?

not sure how close you are to a Sportsmans Warehouse but they said they would do mine… there is one in Anderson and one in Columbia that i know of
Just curious, what are you talking about exactly? Repairing a broken tip or a guide? How much is broken off? Or adding something extra?

You can order everything you need from mudhole.com and they have instructions for replacing a tip. The key is to get the right size guide. There are two measurements. Ring size and tip size.
I got lucky. I went to Academy Sports in Aiken They sell a three piece kit of different size tip/eye/ guide. One of them fit and the kit came with glue. Cost eleven bucks. Thanks fopr all the replies.
