Fished North of Charleston yesterday.
-surf 3’-4’ held bottom by adding extra weight
-Carolina rigs-Frozen Menhaden and Finger Mullet
-large Red booted by inexperienced angler
-something huge ran off 250 yards of 50pd test before breaking the line.
Probably a large shark.
-42" Red caught by experienced angler
-just as the bite turned on-so did the weed!
Gave up in frustration and went home to the Hill early.
No cracks about it did not happen without pix 'cause it did.
Let’s not go back to the “Fishing Police Days”!

Not sure what to make of this comment… 
Reds were just beginning to bite; but drifting weed fouled the lines, wave set dragged the baits down the beach into shallow water, made fishing impossible.

Yeah, I was just messin’ with you… I figure as much based on the next comment line… If you were in the other type of “weed” you wouldn’t have gotten frustrated…
