I read that rescue article…

I have to question the grandfather’s comment that “all three were experienced boaters…”

Does experience say go out in predicted gale force winds in a small aluminum boat? I’ll say the “underestimated” the weather! Sounds like their experience was to go out every weekend with a case of beer…pity the guys who had to rescue them!

Ain’t that the truth! Any experienced boater would have stayed on the hill in most any boat, not to mention a small aluminum jon boat. My swimming pool had a 2’ chop yesterday.

Yep. Fools put good men at risk.

i had planned to go out yesterday and i didn’t even make it outside, much less on the water…

WOW. Not to mention the 3 that had to be pulled from the mud at grays hill.Worst possible time for trouble, when the wind is predicted at 40 and 98% of us know to stay home and pout about not being able to go

The 3 in the mud was dated back in jan.jan.thought both stories were from this weekend
