Mercy, did you see how he accelerated right there?
That was strong.

Football speed right there man.
What’s crazy is the coaches say that #1, who is 6’5 and caught 2TD’s last night, is 2 steps faster than Sammy in the 100 yard dash.
Glad we have #1 next year along with #7, Williams, a true freshman who caught that fade route TD.
Williams is developing nicely.
I’m not sure “fast” is the right word. And it doesn’t even look like he is trying that hard. he is so smooth. no head bobbing or arm pumping, just smooth.
They should put glow sticks in his dreads, it would like lightening running down the field.

Well said Fish. Never really thought about it like that but you are right. Its all in his legs… just a super smooth stride.

Dabo said that Williams is as good as a freshman as Nuk was. Back then Nuk was our only option when he was a freshman so he came along much faster and had many more catches.
Dabo said early in the season that our front 4 would be our strength on D. I thought he was crazy for saying that. Here we are leading the country in TFL. and #5 in sacks as a team.
Point is…starting to trust his judgment more and more now. Hope Williams is the next Nuk.

He runs (or ran) track. Track teaches you to move as efficiently/effortlessly (smoothly) as possible…

That’s the big difference between Sammy and a lot of others. He’s a well trained sprinter.

A sprinter that drops passes won’t get you much on the football field

It is what it is!
Sammy had the same number of interceptions in this game as Conner Shaw has all year long…
Good thing Sammy isn’t a QB. Whewww!
You think the NFL is going to look at it the same way as you Fritz? Just curious.
I think Sammy will go early in the 1st round. Time will tell

He dropped a bubble screen pass the other night. He heard footsteps and got scared. The NFL CB’s hit way harder than college. Good luck.
