Fished the Southern Heritage Tournament Sat and this is one of the Heart breaking 23 1/4" fish that swam away without being weighed in. Caught at least three like this along with multiple 24" to 27" Reds. Didn’t catch one under slot, able to only put two 20" fish in the well to weigh in and Chuck beat us again! Oh well had a good time fishing with good people and drank a beer or two so not all bad. This was a live bait tourney so I’m no fool I used cut mullet.
I give up I tried rotating it in photo bucket and it still comes out org.
That’s a good looking fish! I wish my fishing partner and I would have done better but we had fun and that’s all that really matters. If Chuck caught 40 fish and you caught 30 its no wonder that I only caught 3 there weren’t any left haha!
I have the patent on fish shrinker and stretcher if you need one. Just sayin’
Anyway…congrats on the catchin’ part! I wish I could get time to go. I’m not liking my “retirement” right now! Too much work! (Boy, that’s a nasty word…WORK. Hope the webmaster doesn’t bar me from cussin’)
Wildlife, why would you need a “shrinker”? Bet its like new.I think a “Stretcher” might fit you better. And I hate it you didn’t go yesterday. 43 Weakfish, 3 Speckled Trout, 8 BSB, 6 Bluefish and one nice Flounder. All casting bucktails with a gulp trailer. I also caught one big old toadfish, and thought of you immediately of course. You would think a retired fellow would have a better handle on his schedule. Oh well, keep reading my reports. At least you can daydream while you’re working. Its been a hot bite week.
Jim put me down for one I could sure us it. I said for years I just got to make time for fishing and I’d go every once in a while, then I made up my mind that Sat are for fishing period and now if I don’t go the wife asks whats wrong or whats broke, seams to be working out ok.
