what type of moron justifies his actions by stating “well daddy did it and grand-daddy did it, so i can do it.” that is not only unsafe, it is reckless. my buddy fishes up north, and he told me their answer to someone who is not curtious to people fishing is to drill a few hole in the bow of their boat, right above the water line. that way they are on their way off shore when the boat goes down. too many people feel they know what they are doing out there, and everyday i make another mental note of another azz out there.

theres another what we do up north! I really dont give a rats ass!Go ahead and drill. The Boston Whaler is The Unsinkable legend.......You people really need to get a life.If Fritzy didnt comment none of you would know who, what, where, and when.....what I do in my boat is my deal. How is cutting thru the grillage soooo wrong?I have never cut anyones line traveling thru there.I really used to go thru there at high water....not anymore.I will blow thru there every time I travel to and from offshore,no matter what the tide.

Bolbie,

You sir are a dumb azz…yes Fritz did call your name as possibly running through the grillage, but then you stepped up and proudly professed that you regularly run through there and now you ask what is sooooo wrong with this? I will repeat myself one more time so maybe you can get it.

You are disrupting fellow fishermen that are trying to enjoy a day on the water not to mention violating a boating regulation if you pass by on plane closer than 50 feet of an anchored vessel.

I posed the question. Is it worth disrupting people to save 15 seconds of travel time when there is plenty of room in the channel? You have clearly showed all of Charleston by your last post that you could care less about anyone other than yourself. You sir show the same character of the jack leg that ran over Cracker’s spread and did not even apologize for it.

You say that your dad and grand dad have run this route for years, so I gather you have grown up here in Charleston. I to am a native Charlestonian and grew up on the water, but I can tell you that my parents did not raise me to be so selfish and close minded. I have been on the water over 20 years and still learn new things almost every trip as most people would admit.

Good luck to you in your boating future as I am sure you have made a lot of friends here. I hope you don’t need to rely on some of the folks you so callously pizzed on in the future. I think it is called Karma. You truly are a class act!!!

it is pretty amazing that you feel what you do on your boat is your business, when on the open water what you do can greatly effect others safety and livelyhood. be curtious, for you never know when you might need another persons assistance.
as i say to every person who boats recklessly, enjoy the short life.
