Took my daughter and her boyfriend out yesterday (8/4) for a few hours before being chased in by the rain. Found some hungry redfish on a large flat on the low to incoming tide. Landed four nice fish with the largest being just over 30”, 3 breakoffs and 4-5 misses. Coolest moments were watching an over slot fish eat a dead finger mullet I had just thrown out not three feet from the boat. The other was a shark eating a red in less than a foot of water. Cut and live finger mullet, carolina rigged and under cork.
