SC Bill to allow SC to manage Black Sea Bass

FYI…SC is trying to get the US Congress allow the state to manage BSB

H.3615: A Concurrent Resolution to Memorialize a Request that the United States Congress Permit South Carolina to Manage Black Sea Bass

How many 12"+ BSB are caught in state waters?

What good is state regulation on a fish primarily
caught in federal waters?

How about not trying to shoot the messenger? It was a FYI.

It’s a start. Political gains are usually slow-moving and incremental. Thanks for the info.

If you’re lucky enough to be fishing, you’re lucky enough.

If your fishing the P.I. reef not many, move out just a bit and if you know were to fish plenty.

I agree with Fred, if you know where to look you can catch plenty of legal BF in state waters.

I have put some 3-4 pounders in the boat in state waters. Caught several nice sheeps that day too.

What does memorialise mean in this context? The bill just confuses me. Is it directed at congress as a whole or just our delegation?

I currently live in York County. I have forwarded a request to my local representatives.

Hey Jim, I am planning to go to the meeting wednesday. Just saying. Never been there.

Hope we get some good results from this!
