SCKFA Meet and Fish Aug. 5th

My two suggestions are to fish out of Remley’s or Buck Hall. I would like to have this as early as possible to beat the heat and increase our chance of catching fish. There is a down side for each location… Remley’s may be crowded when we return from fishing and the boat traffic in the harbor can get busy after 11am. Buck Hall you have to pay to fish there. Let me know what you guys think and If these places aren’t anything that you are interested in let me know that as well. A final decision will be made on Sunday based on everyones input. Thanks

How much is buck hall? That’s on bulls bay right? What do you fish for at bulls? Normal slot inshore slam fish like at remleys or like bull redfish or tarpon? I’m down for either one though

$5 and no its on the ICW. To get to to the areas you would be able to catch tarpon or large redfish would take miles of paddling one way. Are you going to make this one?

I should be able to. Something always pops up at the last minute so I can’t do it. But I have been wanting to really bad. $5isn’t that bad for sure. How early is your early? Plus I saw your article in tideline, I kinda just wanna see you fish out of your kayak with that many rods! Hahah I don’t even own 14 fishin poles.
But I put my vote in for buck hall, because I can fish remelys whenever

I will see how it plays out for me, I have to drive past a lot of pretty fishable water to make it out to Buck Hall

I have almost been run over in my kayak by a powerboat twice… BOTH times i was trying to get back into remleys after fishing… Between the retards who own boats and have no clue and all the retards who just don;t give a crap, I will never fish out of remleys on a kayak again… There are WAY too many other places to fish from a yak around here to ever put myself in danger like that again… Ya’ll enjoy and for all of ya’ll who keep posting about wanting to fish from there, best of luck to ya!!!

Buck Hall it is! I would like to meet at 6 am to beat the heat or is that too early for everyone? I will post up directions soon.

6 should be fine. We can get that last bit of topwater action(hopefully). Y’all have fished this area before. What do I need to bring? I’ve never even been on the ICW, like baitwise/lures. I have the terminal tackle

Anyone thinking of camping there Saturday night?

2012 Wilderness Ride 135

Hunter, I would give you a ride but I haven’t been able to find a yak to borrow. I’m lookin for one to borrow for the SCV Saltwater Slam too so I don’t get stuck fishing from the shore. If anyone can let me borrow one I’d love them forever.
