Back at Edisto, after two weeks of thinning timber. I sprayed the stumps with borax, rather than pay $2000 to have this done.
Scouted today for charters tomorrow and Monday. South Edisto was muddy, but up the creeks I found one foot + visibility. Found the trout too, on Trout Tricks on 1/8th ounce jigheads (Owner). I feel like I fished over fish, as the bite was slow. But when I did catch one, I could fish that spot and catch them, slow but steady.
Took a break and threw a Chatterbait/Gulp for the reds. That was on, but is not something I can do with the clients…dads with young sons.
