The heads are talking again about a potential move of Auburn (and maybe Alabama) into the SEC Eastern Division. If this happens, Carolina can just go ahead and put one (or two) games in the lost column at the beginning of every season.

old news. been talked about for years. I could see AU but not Bama (1 or the other, not both). T A&M needs to be in the west.
The whole conference thing is whack anymore but, some adjustments do need to be made.

An AU Mizzou swap makes sense, geographically speaking. Even an AU/Bama swap with Vandy/Mizzou looks good on the map.

Switch TAM and Mizzou would make since. moving AU and/or Bama would be huge in term of rivalry games. Personally I dont care. Its football, play the team on the other side of the field. winner takes all.
I do wish they would change the way they determine the divisional champsâŚbut thats another discussion.
Lol auburn and bama would need to stay in the same division. Right now there would be pretty good odds that bama and auburn would meet in back to back games with the seccg after the iron bowl. UGA might he able to put something together with smart but the rest of the division is garbage. It would be a free trip to the sect for auburn.

Bama is head and shoulders above the rest of the conference but the west has better players and coaches than the east. Coaching in the east is dreadful and UF extending their coach locks it down even more. The Vols are the only team that can probably easily dump their coach right now.
