You know, if the Outback Bowl and Citrus was played when they normally are, this doesn’t really hold any water. The CFP was played on New Years Eve last year, does that mean it sucked over the NY Day Bowls? The whole playing on NY Day thing doesn’t mean what it used to.

Cotton, Orange, and Fiesta are not on NY Day, so not sure what you are really bragging about.

I remember teams getting to play in BCS bowls that had no business being in them.

After being released, a lot of fish die, but a lot of them live also.

Some of those teams even got blown out in those games by backwoods schools…

Some of them have won NC’s too. Better to have been there and got the hell beat out of you than to never have been.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a do

Fritz, you need to go find some USC friends to help you out here. There are too many taters for just one cock. Or is it not enough cocks for the taters? Either way…

And bring them up to Colonial Life. Place looks sad for a team that made a run back in March.

it’s no secret that the acc backed into the BCS bowl games on more than one occasion. At least the playoffs don’t have stupid rules keeping the best teams out of the best bowls and giving participation trophies to the conferences that sucked that year.

WOW!!! I think you struck a nerve, Fritz. Somebody is triggered…

What I’m learning is it’s ok for people to discuss/bring up the history of the Clemson-USC rivalry…as long as it doesn’t cover a time that Clemson lost. LOL!!! Come on, Salty!!! USC can’t talk about too many wins against Clemson. Don’t rain on their parade when they do.

“…be a man and PM me.”

Nah, no nerve struck. That and the OB were the catalyst to where the program is now.

I’ll say one thing for Fritz, he does seem to have the proper bait dialed in.

“You bring up a valid point, I have no idea how Clemson went from losing 5 in a row to bringing in top recruiting classes. Can you imagine Dabo talking to the kids, “Well we just lost 5 in a row to South Carolina, but come to clem$on and play for us.””

Clemson was pretty good during part of the 5peat but the coots were a hair better. At the end of it Dabo was saying “Hey we just won the Orange Bowl over tOSU”". 5 in a row stings a little less when most of the games aren’t huge blowouts and your rival happened to land a few special players. Even in 2010 the 29-7 game only had a 70 yard difference in offensive production. Its a lot harder to sell that a program will compete with their rival when you get outscored 90-17 over two games and Clemson’s backups scored as much as Carolina’s first team with 1/3rd the minutes.

I wonder why the other teams fans in the AFC don’t chant “AFC AFC”…

No need to answer, I just wanted to point out how silly the coattail riders look… carry on… lol

Can someone tell me how many conferences have had 5 teams playing on New Year’s Day, I know you Clemson fans love your stats so someone has to know.

New Years Day Six.

Ratings scheduling has really skewed the schedule thanks to ESPN, but you might be the only one that thinks the Outback and Citrus count as a New Years Six game now.

Well they ARE New Years day games.
Do I think the Outback Bowl is a big bowl game, from CFB perspective, no way. from a USC fan, of course.

The acc does have 10 teams playing in bowl games which is the most of any conference.
