If you’re in Beaufort Nov. 3rd, come by West Marine. Capt. Rick Percy and I will be there to discuss fall inshore techniques for redfish and trout. If that doesn’t interest you, there will be FREE burgers and hot dogs! YUM! C’mon out and say hi! Rick will have autographed copies of his book at a discount. I wrote the foreword, but don’t let that stop you from buying one!
Thank you for your time to make this happen. It was really great to meet you take in some of your fishing knowledge.
After leaving West Marine I went to launch on the broad river to head to the area that Rick Suggested. When I got to the ramp it was pretty breezy with the wind kicking up a few whitecaps.
My wife and I decided to go up and launch at Grays Hill Landing where it was more protected from the wind. It was a beautiful afternoon on the water fishing a shell bank on the incoming tide. Only the fish didn’t cooperate.
Thanks for the help. I look forward to the next time I can get out. Thanks to the folks at West Marine for putting it on and providing lunch.
I also want to say thanks. I wish I would have had more time talk, learn more about fishing, and get to know a little bit about both of you. My two little ones were ready to move on. I also want to thank Captain Rick for the book he gave my little girl . I had to beg her to let me look at it. When she did,I sat there and read the whole thing front to back. It was very informative if you pay attention.
