Florida is the #2 defense in the SEC, so that isn’t saying much.
I still think USC is better and should be favored, just pointing out your argument doesn’t hold much water when the SEC team ranked higher than you on defense isn’t even playing in a bowl. It takes more than defense these days.
USC is missing a key receiver, and Shaw plays terrible on the road. All factors in the eyes of Vegas I am afraid.

To answer the question, Wisconsin runs the ball with some big, strong, fast backs. They have a great O-line too. Sakkerliner hasn’t exactly stopped the run well this year. They’ll run it right at Clowney knowing he’ll over pursue and eat up big chunks against the SC LB’s. USC has to throw the ball to win but Wisconsin has a good pass rush. Ball control type game. If USC can get up 2 or 3 scores early they win.

Wisconsin is AKA Offensive linemen U. BUT…are the rushing #'s inflated because of the weak big10 defenses they have played. Wisconsin has an excellent defense in an offensive league. They will probably be hard to score on. The point of my question is how is a team that is ranked 10-11 spots lower favored on a neutral field? I hope its 85 degrees …Wisconsin will be worn down by 3rd quarter(as will Clowney).

It was a joke. Had you bothered to read just about anything I have ever written about ML, you’d know that I have the utmost respect for that young man. For all the crap we give each other’s respective teams, not one person could ever say that he wasn’t one of the best ambassadors USC has ever had. He was what was right about CFB and sports, not like a lot of the other thug wanna be’s out there.

I was a NY party and most of the people were Big10 people. we discussed that during bowl season you pull for your conference. I agree. If your conference sucks in the bowl games versus other conferences…well it does not reflect well on your team.
So I am pulling for UA.
