Went yesterday to low water, no water moving, very people & zero bites. Water temp is still too cold

How deep is that water below the tailrace when they are running water through there? I’ve fished in the Susquehanna below Conowingo dam when the Shad were there and that water can be tough to fish when there’s a lot of water running through the dam. I have been trying to get over there since covid started, and something always came up that prevented it. I poured a bunch of shad darts to try, 1/8 oz up to 1 oz, but want to be sure I have it covered well, once I do get over there. It’s only about a 20-25 minute ride for me from here.

Not exactly sure on depth but they don’t turn much water loose there nowadays.
If we could just shut down them locks for shad season,we’d have a banner year for sure
