Today in the surf, i saw something i hadnt quite seen before. Thousands of mullet were being pushed up into the shallows and jumping out of the water all over the place. Sure enough something was chasing them. And it was a bunch of 6’ or so blacktips, and i mean a whole lot of them! The sharks worked the mullet for at least an hour and a half, jumping clear out of the water once every several seconds or so. At the peak of the feeding frenzy, there was a shark jumping out of the water every 4-6 seconds, and that peak lasted about five minutes or so. Sorry, no pics or video, went without a cell phone. Saw one shark come in as shallow as 2’ or so too. Shark must have been much more successful than me, i just got two bluefish and a whiting (wasnt trying to catch a shark tho)

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.
Yes Sir, It’s pretty amazing to see them busting those bait pods off the top of the water. My brother-in-law and I sat there and watched them for about 15 minutes last weekend do the same, but they were out a bit. Really cool to watch. Sounds like you had a hell of a show.
Probably not a good time or place to go for a swim.
