Anybody???
Catch a small ray / skate use that for bait…
The King head is sufficient. Caught my first 6 + footer years ago on a medium sized king head on single strand wire. The 6/0 has enough capacity for medium sized sharks or medium to larger lemons. The beach is pretty steep there, so deploying way out is not necessary. We’ve landed nice bulls on the ocean side there in the past.
Lots of sharks off the surf, might be bigger than you want to catch!Good luck and be carefull! Please don’t use small dogs for bait!
Careful with those small rays…It only take a little nick from that tail for you to have a real uncomfortable day

Those little rays can ruin your whole day!
Go to a seafood market, buy some mullet, or whiting, or whatever they have cheap, cut it into chunks. There are plenty of sharks now and they aren’t real particular about what they eat. Buy a pound of shrimp too.
