Managed to pull in this beautiful blacktip last night. Not caught by myself, was caught by Jacob in our camp, but I got to wrangle her. Pulled her to the beach and brought her back in the water after the hook was removed. Swam away strong and forever hooked now. I even bought my first senator 9/0 yesterday! Many more to come, and surprisingly doesn’t make me want to not surf even though this was caught right in my backyard on folly.

Also had 2 large bull reds caught by Blandon and Josh. Congrats to everyone, more photos to come next weekend hopefully!

nice work! any time ive gotten a big shark in the surf ive been both the fighter and wrangler. once its near beached i hand the rod off to a lucky bystander and yup wrangling is aboout as much or more fun than reeling!
