Where is the best place to catch some big sharks in the edisto beaufort area?

been staying on hunting island every summer for the past 20 years and week take our boat every year so i know the fripp inlet like the back of my hand but never caught any good sized sharks out of there only small ones.
The best time for big sharks inshore is April and May. June is the month they start moving out after the spawn. You may catch a few stragglers but mostly juveniles are all that’s left.
Get offshore a little ways, 25 to 30 feet, get a chum line going and have wire leaders. There’s no end of 4 to 5 to 6’ black tips and others around. The dry dock wreck off Fripp always has some, it’s in about 30 to 35’, I think. I’ve heard that menhaden work well.

willy is right caught alotta nice sized lemon sharks on the hunting island pier. arond 6-7 footers got spooled there a few times too.
