Any tips on fishing the pier? I am not completely familiar with Sheepshead in general let alone fishing off this pier?
From what I have read the pillions supporting the end of the pier where it branches off into a T-shape are very good. This time of year I think clams are the go to bait rather than fiddlers. I don’t fish for them too often but during winter the pier is a great place to fish for them. I either use a Carolina rig or just pinch on 2-3 splitshot depending on the current. Hope this helps!

What RedFish4 said. I would try a bit more weight, current gets heavy. Try fresh mussles or clams. But what do I know went yesterday not one bite.
Check out this youtube video on fishing on Mount Pleasant pier.

There’s a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.
