I am planning a trip in March to fish for sheepshead I heard that the 6HI reef is a good place to catch them.I can’t find that reef on my Hots Spot Map.Does it have another name? Thanks
Either get a Top Spots map or look at the DNR website. All the numbers can be found on either. And there are some very nice sheephead on the reefs off Hunting Island

I have a top spots map but I don’t see the 6HI.I see the Hilton Head Reef,Eagles Nest,Beaufort 45,Betsy Ross,but don’t see the 6HI.Thanks
I think it is called the Hunting Island Reef on the top spots. The DNR site has numbers for the reefs. Look out about 3 miles outside of the tire reef. You should also look at the drydock and the tire reef. The sheeps are actually closer in than 6HI most of the time.

6HI is called PA40 or Frip Island Reef on the DNR reef site on this forum. Look under resources on the main page and you will find a link to the DNR reef descriptions. Look at PA 40. Lots of stuff out there to fish on.
