Last week, I caught the biggest sheepshead of my life - four times, at three different locations. :smiley:

I released all but one.

It all started like this,</font id=“Comic Sans MS”>

8 lbs 2.4 ounces

Then came this -</font id=“Comic Sans MS”>

8 lbs 7 ounces

Followed by this -</font id=“Comic Sans MS”>

9.62 lbs

What a better way to end an epic week with this - 10 lbs, 3.2 ounces</font id=“Comic Sans MS”>

10 lbs 3.2 ounces

Did I mention that it was 10 lbs 3.2 ounces? 'cause that’s how I roll </font id=“Comic Sans MS”> :sunglasses:

I was curious as to the same thing. Maybe she lkept it in a livewell. A dead sheep will turn mostly white after a bit and those have good coloration indicating that they weren’t dead, and if so, not for long.

Dem some big ole fish. Unfortunately I don’t see how you can add sheepshead to your already long screen name.

I put the fish in the live well, pulled my boat, drove to the weigh in, weighed in live fish, put back in livewell, launched boat, returned to where I caught fish, revived fish, and released.

With the exception of the last one. He was both lunch and dinner the previous two days, and will be tonights dinner. He is delicious. I have fried him, sauteed him, made tacos, fish cakes, ceviche - and tonight he will be grilled. :smiley:
