anyone have any luck inshore lately? would like to get out and give it a try. never had much luck with them but wanting to figure them out.
Have only been once this year off the burnt trussle. Only caught three and nothing to brag about. I have two friends that have been catching them while cork fishing for reds over oyster rakes in the broad and Coosaw. One was 7.5 pounds.
Archers Creek bridge, P.I. reef, Burnt trussle, Whale Branch bridge, and look for the fleet around the 170 bridge pilings for best location. I’ve always had best luck at slack low with a piece of oyster wrapped around the hook over fiddlers. Also had luck with small pieces of shrimp. Haven’t done it but heard of people using canned clams.
