Saltwater Surf / Pier Fishing

When is the best time to fish at this pier? Incoming tide or outgoing tide? Should we fish the top or on the bottom? I’m just looking to catch ANYTHING that’ll bite, we’re not picky. I just want my son to catch a nice sized fish.

We’ve been a few times and have only caught a trout. We use live finger mullet and some of the little pin fish we catch with small hooks and squid.

I haven’t heard many reports since it opened man, sorry I can’t help you more, there are definetly a few redfish up that creek an flounder, never caught anything large though
