Headed down from greenville this weekend. Any one shrimped in this area this year. We shrimped a good bit on the back of buck island a few years ago and did well. Didn’t try last year. There is a huge flat that runs from harbor town down towards south beach that would seem to be good. Going to be down with the family this weekend and may try a little bit.
Stayed at lands end last weekend and shrimped there, nothing.

Danyelfell, just wondering how you did last weekend. We had about the same results as Reel Nauti on opening day weekend. Went to Buck Fri. and Sun. and South beach on Sat. 3/4 cooler for all 3 nights. Mostly mixed. Have a buddy that lives on Broad Creek that didn’t much better. Planning on going back down in the middle of next month. I’ll try to do a more prompt job of reporting next time. So far,it looks like we may be in for another season like last year. However I’m too stubborn to just go buy 'em. Remember, those who go, know!

Did about the same as you we shrimped the late falling on Saturday night. Didnt stick our poles til about 11. We actually didn’t shrimp but 2 poles friday just to see if they were there. got just under a half a cooler Saturday night in about 2 hrs. Mixed size. It got late so we packed it into we could fish the next morning. Red fish were biting good though just a lot of under slots. Sorry for the late report haven’t been on in a few days.
