Shrimping/Fishing

Coming down from the upstate to try to catch some shrimp and fish with my dad, uncle and cousin this weekend. Anyone have a recommendation on either N. Edisto vs St Helena for shrimp lately? We’ll be doing inshore fishing and aren’t picky, just enjoy it and hope to put some meat on the table at the end of the day. We only get to take one trip a year so hoping to make it worthwhile. Any help on shrimp or fish would be greatly appreciated.

Shrimping has been good in the St Helena sound when the wind lays down. Redfish and trout bite has been good also on the North Edisto side as well as interior creeks on the island. I’ve been catching plenty bait at low tide and fishing with shrimp/finger mullet around structure and live oysters with good success. Look for clear water. If you have any questions, just give me a call. Good luck!
