Baiting…daytime only, jaytay.
G8rnsc & I just came back in with another limit today. Larger shrimp on average today, also. That’s 4 limits in 4 trips. I’m about done for the season…I’m out of freezer space. ![]()
The bar near morgan?
That’s a great catch! Just catching peanut shrimp here in Trenchards.
Hey Jim if your done for the season I have a empty freezer that needs fillin but no time to fill it…feel free to practice your baiting techniques and drop the full coolers by ![]()

Boatless…
Eight, he’s on a roll cause he just learned to throw a real net. All these years hes been throwing a three foot Walmart childrens net with a five foot rope. The fact the g8 went back out with him is a testiment that Jim’s actually opening the net. But to be fair (not that I am gonna start now), he has shrimp and I don’t.
Y’all…admittedly, I’ve been throwin’ Jiggy’s old 7’ net. It, like Jiggy, is pretty much a religious relic…all holy and such. I’ve spent hours & hours patching it up. I understand Jig’s wife has to do the same to him.
But…like the man said…I have scrimps and he doesn’t! ![]()
Well, I don’t know what y’all used to catch them but those are some nice shrimp.
Wildlifesc, do you prefer shrimping on the rising tide or the falling?
I like the rising, Swansea…but have done both with success. For me in the daytime, it’s all about finding dirty/muddy/silty water.
