Yeah, we were hoping for some grouper and ars to make an appearance but I am reluctant to drop the gopros deeper than about 130’ where i have had better luck with grouper and its hard to keep live baits on long leaders in camera range. The triggers were happy to maul a bait that got wrapped around the camera but I think groupers are more camera shy. I’ll keep working on it…specially if y’all want to share some good grouper numbers in about 120’!!

How are you securing the GoPro to a line? Just curious as I’d love to try something like this.

Magezzi, since I built that thing, I’ve been in the water ONCE!! My life has been non stop since this past January. I swear I’ve been in my house maybe a grand total of about 5 weeks these past 10 months!! However, I do have aspirations to go out and do some Wahoo/Tuna trolling and bottom fishing soon. I am planning on putting it to use then. So hopefully pretty soon we’ll see how well I built it!!
