Really good day today. Awful windy as soon as I got out and thought it was going to be horrible. It starts to rain ten minutes into it. Got cold from all the rain and wind but decided to stick it out and it paid off big time. 30 inch red, 22 inch flounder, countless sea trout. All were caught on mud minnows on the bottom.

. Sometimes you just got to stick it out, the other day I was fishing and a guy came out where I was fishing on the beach parked right next to me , fished for an hour and gave up, left. After he left I pulled 3 more reds I could only think that if he wouldnt have given up that he would have bagged a few himself, sometimes a little patience can go a long way, thanks for your post, welcome to the sight.
I almost left right before I caught the first red. As soon as I caught that fish there was no way I was leaving even with the huge wind gusts. Thanks for welcoming me.
I have fished for three hours without a bite and then caught one after the other for the next two hours. Sometimes you just have to wait for the fish to get there.
