Took my dad to the beach and fished the rock tips down by the light house from 8-10AM. He caught 4 spot tail 4 pin fish and 1 17 inch black drum all on shrimp and a dollar double drop rig from wallmart, I caught about 8 spot tail all under 16 and one Grey/Mangrove snapper(caught some this time last year in the same area) all on a light carolina rig and either mud minnow, shrimp or finger mullet. If the minnows or mullet are live I clip the tail off, if the mullet is dead I clip the tail and cut from behind the bottom of chest to the butt for more scent and I always pinch the head and tail and smash the body a little when using shrimp to produce more scent and if the shrimp are really small I hook several shrimp on there.
