There’s a chance that some of you get 100% of your news from CF.com, so I thought I would let you know about this cool event to keep you in the know…I will not be in Chucktown on the 21st, but according to this map, I will see 90% of the eclipse from the Island I plan on being on. Some of you will see 100%.
Supposed to be between 10,000 and 20,000 people converging on McClellanville that day. That being said I would not even think about that route. Or any route that goes towards that town via Car or boat. Low tide will be at the same time give or take,so ICW Buckhall no too low water. Best just to head offshore and avoid the crowds an idiots IMO.
I didn’t think about people swarming to McClellanville…
Think about every human in every office building, hotel, house, etc. emptying out in the streets or parking lots in Charleston to watch it…
I know every hotel in the Charleston area is booked that weekend, every Air B/b in the MCVL area is booked as well that I am aware of anyhow. I have friends renting their entire house out that weekend for close to $5,000 and it only took 5 days after it was posted to book. From what I have learned is everyone wants to be at the last place it crosses land. Not me cup of tea. So be my guest and run up there or any where that day. Heck I may rent my home up there for a few grand that weekend and go to the Islands.
Hell, last week numerous dumbasses crippled West Ashley trying to get their hands on 80 cent doughnuts, imagine what this eclipse will do…
I’m on a private island behind a gate enjoying this if the skies are clear…

I suggest that everyone get their donuts a few days before the eclipse or the combination of the donut rush and eclipse rush could sink the city of charleston...

I think that was Hilliary’s campaign strategist.LMAO
Bad enough he thinks an island could “capsize”, but I had to look it up and the population density of Guam is 775/square mi…just slightly below the density of HHI.
Guess he’s never been to Manhattan either. 72,000/square mi.
