They are going to run him to death at this rate. How many touches did he get 30ish?

And the officiating was brutal. It seemed like the refs wanted UL to win.

This! The refs accounted for half of Louisville’s offense last night.
1 weak call and 1 terrible call on Lawson.
A few horrible missed holding calls on UL.
Watson dragged a linebacker that was latched on to his facemask at the end of the game and didn’t get the first to ice the game.If the refs called the game right it would have been a blowout. Most of the UL momentum was started with a push from the refs.

Delusional!
I saw evenly matched team, important note ,UL is the 11th in the ACC while Clemson is “11th” nationally. There were a lot of bad no calls on both side. Ref’s missed a facemask on Bolin in that final drive too that would have put them at the 20 with a minute left.
If I were a tater, I would be very worried! I saw secondary that gave up 270 yards in the air to a 3rd string quarterback and an offense that couldn’t produce against the 11th ranked team in their conference with a ranking closer to 1964th nationally.

Our defense gave up 10 points and played well after losing 9 starter from last years team
Are you crying?

It is what it is.
If Watson had made a couple of better decisions on those interception plays, he would have been 21 for 28 with 75% comp percentage and we’d be talking about his Heisman run right now.
Its amazing how two snaps can make or break a game open or make it really competitive.

It goes both ways. UL had a EASY TD pass dropped by a freshman.
It was ugly on both sides of the ball.

24 for 139yds. He’s listed as the starter but he’s being pushed by 4 other backs. The coaches have said, the hot hand is who they are going with. If he’s it, he gets the carries, if not next man up until they find the right one.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

The first bogus call on Lawson took pressure off of them by taking them from their 15 to the 30, yielding 3 points to UL. Before this UL had 1 possession with double digit yardage (27yd) out of 6.
The second was a hands to the face where Lawson never touched the QB’s helmet. Giving them another 15 free yards resulting in 7 points to UL.
30 yards is a lot to give away considering UL didn’t even get 300 in the game.
Here’s another 50 yards gifted to them. Watch how hard Lawson is trying to avoid another BS late hit call when they show the low angle replay. https://youtu.be/PWqJxXo2_Ak?t=5988
Take those 10 points that were gifted to UL and give Clemson back some momentum lost from those calls and you don’t think it’s a blowout? Hell 20-7 is a rough enough score to swallow at home for the cards.

I didnt say petrino was a bad coach. Just because hes a coach with a winning record doesnt mean hes got a good team. By that same logic, usc has a good team, and we did under holtz too,ha! Im saying, based pn current ratings, ul is a bad team right now. I certainly see their potential but right now they cant get it together. With that being said, clemson didnt look much better. I see the potential there as well but clemson looked like a team tryimf to break into the top 25, not the top 10. I think clemson is a good team, dont get me wrong, watson is a hellova young man and gallman looks pretty tough! But if i had limped out of that game the way they did, i wouldnt be clammering about it being a blowout. If i were their coach, i wouldnt be whip and nanain celebrating a win that should have been a gimme.

The freshman dropped several balls, man he is fast though! Yabo dabo really called them the best secondary hes had?

Dabo dances after every win dude. its a tradition. Just like the kids running onto the field after wins.
I don’t think we are a top 10 team right now either. our OL is what caused most of our problems last night and it got worse with 3 guys going down. That’s our struggle… Oh and special teams.
But your original point was that our defense was not good and I disagree. Think they will end up top 20.
Man hoot nanny, boot stomp, watermelon crawl, whatever. Its a W get the first ride back to Clemson and get to work on ND.
quote:I'd dance too getting out of that one with a win... But, being comfy at the time (+5.5) I changed channels.

I can tell, that one really stung! You Coots are awful pissed off about going back into the realm of insignificance to the rest of the football world.

No, not really. It just showed me how self centered your coach can be. Fritz is right. If he would have lost 6 straight to USC he would have been gone.
7cs, time will tell. If its important enough that he has to wear a brace now, I would think it would have been important enough to not risk anymore injury then.

And I thought b8 was bad…dude.it was Watson’s decision along with his family’s. Yes Dabo allowed after input from doctors.
Plenty to discuss about your team.
