Once again Tigers disappointed you on the national stage. Man they hate us. Am I wrong? Braxton Miller’s still a hurting buuckaroo.

I think you would prolly find that overall viewers of last night’s game were pretty happy with the competitiveness…

I thought both teams were kinda sloppy. UL’s Offense was all over the place. CU offense just doesn’t look as in synch as they did last year. Both defenses looked pretty good.
And the officiating was brutal. It seemed like the refs wanted UL to win.
That was a very ugly game last night!! Just glad the “W” ended up where it did!!

This! The refs accounted for half of Louisville’s offense last night.
1 weak call and 1 terrible call on Lawson.
A few horrible missed holding calls on UL.
Watson dragged a linebacker that was latched on to his facemask at the end of the game and didn’t get the first to ice the game.
If the refs called the game right it would have been a blowout. Most of the UL momentum was started with a push from the refs.

There were a lot of holds they could have called on Clemson too that they didn’t. That facemask at the end was bad. Clemson looked sloppy on offense, quite a few catchable balls were dropped and Watson missed some wide open receivers. I knew I shouldn’t have changed my pick in the parlay, this is one of those series that’s always going to be closer than it should be.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

That’s directed to Great Whites comments about the game being a blowout had it been called correctly.
I don’t respond to Salty’s nonsense ever since the Muschamp contract fiasco.

Delusional!
I saw evenly matched team, important note ,UL is the 11th in the ACC while Clemson is “11th” nationally. There were a lot of bad no calls on both side. Ref’s missed a facemask on Bolin in that final drive too that would have put them at the 20 with a minute left.
If I were a tater, I would be very worried! I saw secondary that gave up 270 yards in the air to a 3rd string quarterback and an offense that couldn’t produce against the 11th ranked team in their conference with a ranking closer to 1964th nationally.
You would have thought yado dabo do just won a national title the way he was celebrating.

Had the facemask on Watson been called, the one on Bolin would have never happened. Clemson played like a young team, on the road, in a hostile environment, on a short week. ST play will come back to haunt them if they don’t get that coverage fixed. Gallman ran hard and seems to be becoming the back they’ve needed for a while. The defense surrendered 2 3rd down conversions all game and limited UL to 19yds rushing. They gave up a few on the perimeter, chance you take playing press man coverage.
I wasn’t aware the Bolin was 3rd string, I thought when you started a game and the other two QB’s were sitting on the sideline uninjured, that would mean you were 1st string. I do see a lot of chickenlickers pissed off about the fact that Clemson won a game last night. A W is a W, some of them aren’t pretty, this one wasn’t. I honestly thought since the schedule came out this would be one that Clemson lost, glad to be wrong. You chickens keep on hoping Clemson loses, I’m sure with the season you’re facing, that is the only joy you’ll have as fans.

Holding is a call of the past, every game you watch it is everywhere and I think the refs just call it sporadically. I was surprised at how unsettled Watson looked after how calm he was last year, but he is young and human and everyone has bad days. There is some work to be done along that offensive line as well. I imagine Watson is really sore today he took a pretty good beating back there. With all that said, I don’t take joy in them losing I actually wanted them to win in spite of the ribbing I have taken from my Clemson buddies all year. Clemson looked like a young team early in the season. They have the talent and I think they will have a good year.
I saw a game with a bunch of college kids on both sides of the ball who were playing in front of a national TV audience(TV timeouts, and assorted delays inflicted on playing momentum) for the 1st time. I would imagine that there were a few players for CU that had never played a game on a Thur. night either. Some of the same applies to LU, but they were playing at home, sleeping in their own beds, doing their pre-game on their home field with a stadium full of their fans. I don’t know about any of you, but I don’t adjust well to “life on the road”. Motels, airports, restaurants, weird accents, etc. get me “off my game”. Add in an offensive line that was patch work and bailing wire, a world class downfield threat sitting at home with a neck brace on, and much more to lose than gain in a “trap game”, and I’ll take the win and get the heck out of town.

Ok, does last week’s third string an make you feel better? My point was clemsons defense should have had a field day. Clem u defense did hold them to only 2 third downs but gave up 17 points doing so to an unranked 0-2 team.
It’s not so much Clemson I pull against as their delusional fan base, great white proves my point.

Louisville isn’t a bad team, they’ve just had a few issues at QB and getting the defense straightened out.

It’s not so much C
Gallman is a big time football player. Develop that guy over the next year and you’re talking about scary good. As far as the offense goes, I think Clemson will go as Watson goes. Cliche I know, but its true. He seemed like he was thinking too much last night. The kid is still young and has a lot to learn and evolve in to and is crazy with natural talent, but if he can figure out how to quit thinking so much and just go and do it, Clemson is unstoppable. Just my opinion of course, not that it matters to anyone. What is a Jerk Bait anyways?
Yes, the injured WR hurts Clemson, but I think there’s plenty of playmakers that just need to step up. The talent is there. Figure out a way to beat ND and GT and you’ll be in the Playoffs…FSU isn’t nearly as good as either of these two teams.
Now a statement to all the Clemson fans/coaches/players, in the wise words of Phin in years past, “Don’t screw it up!”

Nice analysis. Louisville was playing a 2 deep safety all night taking away the deep ball and relying on the front 7 to keep everything in front of them. The short game was there, Watson just seemed a step off last night on a few throws and the receivers didn’t help out dropping a few. The slant to Gallman was six at best, inside the 10 at worst. That missed pass to the TE was a long play. There were a few more he missed seeing, one was a WR running free.
Gallman is running tough this year, it’s going to be something if they can get Dye and Fuller lowering the shoulder too. There’s 4 good backs on the rotation with Gallman, if they all learn to run like he is, that’ll be hard to stop.
They won
