South Carolina Doe Season Right Around the Corner

The pic is from one of my wildlife plots, planted in peas. Yesterday I sowed wheat, ran the cultivator thru to get the weeds and cover the wheat, then banded the fields with chicken manure, which will keep the deer out, hopefully, until doe season (Sept 15).

On another note, I have some real deals on hunting tracts for sale and one 390 acre tract for sale or lease for hunting. It is located near Branchville, South Carolina and has 3 miles of Edisto river as a boundary.
I’ll be taking the real estate cap off and putting on the fishing cap Thursday. Hopefully I will have something good to report, like some clearer water.

Edisto-fisher, I would love a tutorial from you on finding clearer water on the south side of Edisto. Thanks, Bob
