Anyone ever done any large sharkin up the river? Talking up the river, not near Pierre or Bay creek. And by large I mean 10’ type sharks.
I have tried tarpon a bunch of times fishing up the south edisto a little ways and caught a lot of sharks but never even hooked a big one that i recall. A few decent blacktips but nothing like you are looking for.

Maybe some 5-6 ’ but I believe you’ll need to be out in the sound for anything 10’.

Yup. We have landed plenty of big sharks in the sound all the way out to the reefs. Just looking to see if a little mission to the back, back waters would produce some bulls maybe. Landed some decent bulls up to about 8.5 ft. in the surf, but imagine there are some back there, just wondered if anyone had any experiences to share.
