They were thick 2 weekends ago at 4KI…but they refused to bite. Saw one get caught. Talk among boats they were not biting. They’re not a stupid fish…they learn to avoid hooks I think.

We saw 2 large schools out at Comanche today, to see a little squid at them but they were not interested. Didn’t try to hard.

We were at chs 60 yesterday and they were thick enough to walk across. Bite was incredible slow…only boated 5 betweeen 8 and noon.

As we baked in the sun watching all those spades skimming the surface that thought bubbled into the conversation several times. Next time I may just have to take a cross bow #129300;

They’ve. Been harassed a lot apparently. We usually don’t have any trouble getting them with spearguns. Yesterday at the 60, I could hardly get close to them. They were super spooky.

Plenty at the Edisto 60 on 7/2 but we couldn’t get them to bite anything we had. Only picked up 3 little jelly balls on the way out.

I’ve been called pathetic before, but it wasn’t for using a bow on fish. Thought about getting a crossbow with a scope. Maybe one day.
I once went on a charter for Catfish using a bow, the Charter was set up for it and we had several larger ones pull off and not make it to the boat. I did learn I suck at judging a fish under water but at least the guide didn’t call me pathetic. That would have hurt my tender feelings.
