Any word on the spots running around Hunting Island.Wouldn’t mind a mess for a fish fry.

Heard the rain washed the out of Murrels Inlet last week. thaught they might have headed south.
Dropped the hook(saturday) just inside the mouth on the Bay Point side and caught a few of the smallest whiting ever. Only used small pieces of shrimp. Never fished for spots before but had some reds swimming around in livewell already so gave it a try for about an hour.
It was to rough to move out any further around the point due to the unrelenting NE wind.
