Spurrier

Why not run the ball 3x during OT?

Many more games could have been won this year if he just stuck to running the ball…Seems like he is just being stubborn at this point.

Its easy being an armchair coach so I’m sure there is something i’m missing.

Finally someone gets it…I thought it was just me and 80,000 others…

I was thinking stubborn after the first collapse, now, after 3, I truly wonder…

One collapse I can live with. 3 not so much. I would love to know what was and has been going on his mind.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Spurrier was in the middle of the defense in the fourth quarter last night. Not something he usually does. I hope Ward saved a few bucks along the way. He’s done for.

It seems all of these losses have involved putting it all on Thompson’s shoulders , especially from a play calling stand point and he is just not that guy. I t would have helped if the tackles had actually blocked on those plays. I understand Shell was hurt, but this line as a whole has not pass blocked well late in games all year. I think Ward is done and should be. They cannot even handle basic assignment footballl, forget stunting and that comes down to coaching. They have 4 4-star DE committed for next year, let’s hope they can keep them after this. Maybe they will look at it as a chance to come in and play immediately.

When you score 42 at home, you should expect to win. As many mistakes as Thompson has made, he has done enough to put Carolina in position to win. The defense has to take the credit (blame) for the UK, Mizzou and Tenn losses.

Did you, uhmmm, watch the O-line play in OT? DT is in serious trouble when they play UF and even bigger trouble when they play Clemson. Both of those teams are going to bring more pressure than he has seen all year long.

They’ll beat Bammer Tech but there won’t be another win besides that this year. No bowl.

I’m just glad the games are played on the field. Anything can happen on any given Saturday. How many people thought Florida would steamroll Georgia last weekend?

I didn’t…

A bad day fishing is much better than a good day at work.

I picked Florida in the pickem to at least cover. Would never had predicted an outright win. Clemson fans being over confident could come back to haunt themselves. Notice I used the word COULD instead of will. Most Clemson fans are keeping their mouths shut until the game is played. They may have a “file”* on everything they intend to say IF Clemson wins the game, but for now they are STFU.

but honestly, where is the fun in that.

Have heard several Coot fans stay yesterday and today that losing these SEC games doesn’t matter at all as long as they beat Clemson. That’s the mentality of the fan base that 23sailfish will deny to his grave, but it is the truth. You’ll see it from that Gamecock team in Clemson as well. They’ll look like the #9 team in the country the AP said they were when they stand at the bottom of the hill and try to start a fight with Clemson’s players before kickoff.

Seen it before. Nothing earth shattering.

Hardly being stfu^ - just telling y’all what’s coming. You know good and well Spurrier will encourage it…
