They are all in the Broad River. Put in at Lemon Isl. and get amongst the throng…
Broad River always is about 2 weeks ahead of St Helena (Combahee Ligjht); but they are now at the light. lots of small cobia…remember to release any undersize fish, please. Circle hooks are giving a better hook up ratio, and a better (healthier) release.

Fished around the light on Sat and Sun. lost a nice cobia on Sat. he bit a live whiting. Had trouble with sharks eating the rest of our live bait.
How do you fish for cobia. Will be at edisto next week and never tried to fish for them. What kind of lures and bait. Also what is min and max tail size? thanks

33 inches. read what reeleasy wrote… use live whiting. or of course you could use bucktails
