Station Creek Landing to PR sound

I have read up on it, and people just say be careful, I have a chip so I know when it opens up at the PR there is a flat right there and it is really shallow. Being careful, is there anything major to worry about, is it even possible say at dead low tide… I am in a 17cc, shallow V hull, any help would be appreciated, thanks

I have a 23 foot ranger and can make it at dead low tide as long as I dont stop. Occasionally I bump the bottom around one of the bends but nothing to worry about. I would go through it an hour or so before low to plot a path. As for the flat going into PR make sure you go wide before turning to go up river.

Sounds good, thanks for the insight

hug the left on the way out, and avoid coming in at dead high tide (close to the boat ramp at dead high tide, all you see is water and a few patches of grass)

I use this landing all the time, used to run a 35’ Donzi through there and now run our 24’ seahunter and have always been able to run at dead low. Easiest would be to follow someone out but staying left on the way out is a safe bet
