Fished the flats of Station Creek this afternoon on a high-falling tide, the fish were extremely active. Schools of reds’ were chasing greenies and mullet all along the edges. Not even a nibble on pogies or cut bait, then switched to electric chicken jigs with moderate success. Ended up with a speck’, 6 nice flounder, and a slot drum but, for the most part, the redfish were completely disinterested with us. Somewhat frustrating but hard to argue with a slam!

Just off of the Port Royal Sound between morse island creek and fort Fremont…In the general vicinity of Bay Point near Lands End. Or if your coming from the other side I believe it can be accessed from Trenchards Inlet.
got it! Launched from the sands and hug the left side of the creeks until I get to the 2 creeks at the end. Fish the creek mouths. Paddle all the way out there on my kayak once, good workout!

l met my good friend and mentor of fishing Jim (WildlifeSC) there fishing back in December.
My wife caught her first red there and I have had very good results fishing there since. It gets a lot of pressure but wat area in Beaufort doesn’t. LOL! NIce report and go get them Prayot!
Chris wait till you get back, I found some super skinny holes where they hole up at lowtide! Plus I can’t wait to pole on the PI point flats and all the flats on station creek for those winter and fall schooling reds!

well i’m always looking for reliable fishing buddies. I don’t like taking guys on my new to me boat that never been fishing before. It’s hard to cast net, drive the boat, drift with the tide and having people get in the way. It would be nice to have someone who knows there way around a fishing rod and assist with boat operations.
