I am posting this for a buddy of mine in Savannah. I know its a long shot up here, but I also know a LOT of people read this forum. His boat was stolen last night (on the trailer) in Savannah, GA. If anybody sees it or hears anything of it, let me know ASAP. 912-704-0107 or call the police. The boat is a 37’ Intrepid Center Console with a black wrap. Name is Nauti-Gale.
Seriously!?? (**()…
That’s a huge boat to steal!
I would be looking at Miami and south!

Those are some ballsy thieves to steal such an identifiable boat. You should put this up on THT as well. Lots of folks on the east coast on there to keep an eye out for it.

Pull it in an warehouse space, take the wrap off, disguise it a little and roll on.
You could make the Bahamas in that boat from Savannah couldn’t you?
It’ll be running drugs soon.
(**() a thief.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

23,
I was thinking the same thing. . That baby is probably painted flat black and loaded to the gills with dope. DM I hope your friend gets his boat back. Ill keep my eye out for it.

Boat has been found. No motors. I’ll probably give him a few hours before I call to bug him for details. I would probably appreciate that if I were in his shoes. I hate a thief, hopefully they catch whoever did it.
Dang, sorry to hear that. At least he got the hull back.

Just heard from someone yesterday that some of the dealers in Cton, especially the ones out on S. 17 are getting engines stolen off boats that are in the lot.

Dang, at least he’ll get new power out of the deal. Surprised they didn’t strip all the electronics off too.

It’s probably headed south on I-95 right now…
FWIW, not all States register and or title motors.
I sold a F250 last year to a guy in S.California. He didn’t want the title, just a note saying I owned the motor and was selling it to him.

Well they got 3 yamaha 300’s. Didn’t touch the electronics. Georgia doesn’t title motors either. Just sucks to happen to right before tournament season for them. They found it within 30 mins. Facebook sharing located it that fast. Pretty amazing.
What??? In 30 minutes they got 3 motors off and dumped it?
That’s quick work.

I want to catch them all
Wonder if we should bring back public executions for thieves?
Next time you come in, come heavy, or not at all…
I would think, the 30 minutes referred to 30 minutes after it was found missing and the word got out!

Those are pros for sure. They had to have planned that in advance and had a crane and flat bed with power tools right around the corner in a warehouse or something. Dang, that’s impressive! Those engines must weigh 800 pounds each. They also had cojenes like a church bell!
Glad the boat was recovered anyway.

Maybe they meant 30 minutes after posting on Facebook, which was not immediate after the crime.
Not a big fan of the Muslim culture but, I wouldn’t rule out an occasional public amputation every now and then to make thieves think.

Or to the Port in Charleston or Savannah, big market for marine engines overseas. Worse would be on another local boat meaning a local was casing it, and we have such such people living among use.
Social media is pretty neat. Glad he at least got the boat back.
That had to be a above average or super desperate thief to be so brazen.
