Found out this past week our golf cart was stolen from under the house. Someone stole the cart and drove it in to a pond. Someone saw the roof sticking out of the water and reported it to the police. That’s just great!!! I wish I could catch these people in the act just one time.
I have been hearing a lot about increased crime at Edisto. What’s behind this??

I think it is board teenagers being really bad. It not like there is a bad side of Edisto.

A few months ago, I had my tackle box and a couple of rods stolen from my boat, which I had (stupidly) left parked out on the road.
Just trying to learn every bit I can about saltwater fishing…

I figure that it’s just some punk kids, and this is why I think so.
I had my boat on teh street, and left all my gear in the boat (never do that again). I had 4-5 rods, my tackle box, and another box of all my soft plastic lures, etc. in the boat. There was also a few other things. Well, they only took 2 rods and the tackle box, and left the other rods and the box of soft plastics. It just seems to me that some kids were either walking or driving by, and just grabed that stuff quickly and on an impulse. If it was somebody going around and looking to rip people, I would think they would have taken everything they could have out of the boat. But, it’s just my speculation.
Also, a golf cart driven into a pond seems like something some punk-ass teenagers would do. Somebody that was actually trying to steal it would have brought a trailer to haul it off so they could try to sell it or something like that.
