Clemson is #3 right now and are supposed to move to #2 after we play FSU Saturday.

Auburn is now ranked #17 and Troy is 6-1 which are looking like good wins now.

Who would have though that would ever happen to an All Cupcake Conference team?

The $2 Million paid to Troy was some of the best money Clemson has spent since they fired Bowden.

Yea its really making some of the sports reporters stretch when criticizing Clemson. Pretty inconvenient that those questionable wins earlier in the year were against 2 potential conference champs, one with the best shot to knock off bama.

To be fair I havent had time to watch much news this year. For some reason they are just in love with Louisville and Clemson broke their hearts. Mark May said he would put Louisville in the playoffs and not clemson if he had to pick now… clown. Lots of “lucky Clemson” with very little mention of SOS actually being much much better than tOSU, Michigan, Washington, WVU, and Baylor. OSU showed last weekend that those next tier opponents can beat anyone on the right day.

Either way if clemson wins tha acc with one or less losses we’re likely in the playoffs. But its probably best to avoid bama in the first round and winning out will help us accomplish that.

They’ve all gotten on their collective knees for Jackson and UL. ESPN sucks and is almost like every other “news” outlet…unless you lean the same way.

In all fairness if the NCState kicker could have been better than 25% on chip shot field goals, you’d have a loss right now and probably sitting at #9 or #10…

And how are the South Carolina Thunder Coots doing???

Just wait to see how Ohio st Clintons their way into the playoffs it’s all about money and tv, not hard nose football. Clemson vs Bama last year was the best game of the season even though I didn’t like the result it was a good game.

Seriously though, the NC state kid missed like the easiest kick of his career…I just think its funny. Clemson luck. I wish my Gamecocks could find some of that luck, then maybe we’d win 5 games this year! :smiley:

Perspective is funny. To me it looked like Clemson wouldnt have had the opportunity to lose that game if Clemson luck wouldn’t have jumped up and bit them yet again.

If we don’t fumble the ball in side the 10 yard line twice, this game would have been over in the 3rd quarter.
