Where and or how would I go about fishing for strippers from the shore line? I’ve fished for 'em below dams in the tailwaters casting out with jigs with shimmy shad and flukes elsewhere. Any pointers welcome. Thanks
Platinum plus or chastity.
you can go fishing for strippers at many fine stripping establishments throughout the lowcountry. best bait is a folded $20 bill presented directly in front of them.
Go during the week, before 1:00PM. They seem to be pretty hungry at that time. I’ve seen 'em bite at a $5 bill. Just be carefull not to let the first one get all of your bait.

You can bring em in with some single $1 bills, if you anchor and set up right in front of the pole. Then catch a trophy with a $20 bill on a lap dance teaser situation. The side feeder creeks are know as VIP longes and offer larger variety also.
I have received many citations from these techniques and have taken home a lot of meat over the years doing this.

Anchoring near the pole can be good for sight fishing, but I prefer to sit back aways, chumming with $1’s every now and again and then letting them come to me. It seems like I get a good variety of keepers that way.
Watch out for the sharks, some can be a lot more dangerous than they appear.

One last thing…get your bait from the ATM machine. The strippers can’t resist it. The best color seems to be green. Good Luck

There was a school up on the surface withing casting distance of parking lot by the dam launch. I hear people catch some stripers and bass right there in that lot. If you go there watch out for fire ants. They are loaded there. Learned that one the hard way. It seems fire ants like cut herring.
You could also go fish from the shore of the river by the zoo. They get some big ones down there.
I would practice catch and release only though. Dunno how edible they would be. [:0] [:0]. There could also be the side order of the crabs for free also…

this topic made me laugh haha
You go inside the cage?
Cage goes in the water, you go in the water. Shark’s in the water. Our shark.
I love stripper fishing.
Classic, what does it cost to take strippers out striper fishing.
Triton, I like the new avatar, lol.
That depends on how much the judge gives my wife in the divorce.
ouch
Gotta go with Happy Bob on this one. Prior experience has always been good when I drift bait near the main feeding lane. Managed to full a few quality ones out of the school that way. [:0]
A few pointers tho.
- Set a limit on how much chum you’re willing to toss out before you get a hookup.
- When you land one, look her overclosely cause most of 'em are a lot older and in worse condition than they first appear. [:0][:0]
- Not fit for eating.
- Remember to wrap your rod. You don’t want to get any of the slime where it won’t come off.

Yes sir. I’m planning a trip down to Murray and may just leave my boat with you for some PIMPN’ OUT. My new boat ain’t attracting the strippers as good as the old one. I’m thinking curb feelers and some fuzzy dice.
Remember that stripper fishing is strickly catch and release.
i can let you use my stripper boat. It gets em every time

I’d be “happy” to add some BLING:sunglasses: to your boat. Are you sure it’s curbs you want to feel?
Steelytom, I’m not sure about the leopard paint, but I love the lime green and the spinners.
