Fished the mid day outgoing tide. Forgot bait and cast net:angry:. Found two old shrimp fish bites in the tackle box. Used them to catch a pompano and a whiting. Used the whiting to catch some small blues. Used the small blues to catch more whiting, a lady fish, baby shark, and bigger blues. keep a few blues and a sunburn. Not bad for a day that could have just been a day at the beach.
That sounds like how I fish with my kids, except i usually have the cast net, just cant throw it!
hey way to make something out of nothing. many have a hard time doing that 
I know the fish is a feet in front of your son but that looks like a monster pompano!
