Sullivan hot spots?

I am looking to go surf fishing this weekend and am relatively new. I have all of the set ups, sort of. Where are a couple of stations that I will have the most luck with? I would love to catch some Reds or Bonnetheads. Really, I just want to catch some fish this weekend. Any tips for where they’re biting would be greatly appreciated.

Anywhere on folly is hot? I normally go to the North side of Folly.

rafman, all low country beaches have the potential to be “hot”. I go where I feel comfortable, and it needs to be conveinent. Sullivans is no exception, but I like the ereas from 28-18. Thats a lot of beach, so you gotta hunt your spots. The next week or so will be early morning/late afternoon low tides. Also looks like the currents will be light. Go to a spot just at low and find the holes, fish through the turn. Right now the Whiting bite is hot everywhere. Bonnet Heads?..maybe. Reds?..maybe not, this time of year, in the surf. My 5-cents, fresh shrimp, small hooks, tight lines, in the troughs.

Hey thanks for the help, how do I know if I am in a hole? Is that where the waves will start to spill over?

Sorry if these questions seem elementary, I just like a large wealth of knowledge.
