went out to Sullivans late this morning around station 16 and tried to fish that flat tip/little peninsula and got out there around 11:30 (right after high tide) and fished until about 2:10 as the tide was running out with little to no success. caught some bait on the way over (a few live mullet and baby pomps-i think?) and had no luck on any of it. Didn’t really have a convincing bite the whole time, not even a shark or ray
Only success of the day was catching a 5 inch black drum on some way too old frozen shrimp when i got desperate to catch something. Even the frozen shrimp wasn’t getting bites often though, just that kind of day.
Still a beautiful day to be out by the beach! Trying to learn a little bit more about different spots day by day and find a spot on Sullivans that works for me
